Wellington and Katheryn Boone have been married for 36 years. Their lives as well as their teachings have kept hope alive for multitudes that in God you can find one mate who will be the love of your life.
Hope Applied—To Your Marriage
You can have hope for your marriage, because marriage is important to God! At the beginning of creation, God gave Adam a wife—Eve. The Bible begins with a marriage. At the end of the Bible, there’s another marriage. This one is between the Last Adam, Christ, and His woman, the Church. It’s the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. You know that when the history of the world begins with a marriage and ends with a marriage there must be something awesome about marriage that we’re supposed to see.
Marriage at the beginning of the Bible
“Then the rib which the LORD God had taken from man He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man” (Genesis 2:22 NLT).
Marriage at the end of the Bible
“. . . the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband” (Revelation 21:2 NKJV).
